Employee Health Centers

The role of the LiveWell Employee Health Centers is to assure that employees are safe to work in a safe environment.

During the pre-placement process, the applicant is evaluated and tested to identify the potential for contracting or spreading communicable disease, to insure they are free from substances that could impact their own safety and the safety of their co-workers and patients; and to identify any job modification for Human Resource review for reasonable accommodation.  LiveWell works closely with the other members of the Human Resources department to coordinate these services and to adhere to all governmental and regulatory guidelines.

Our goal is to provide timely, efficient service to our employees and volunteers that is based on best practices and to deliver those services in a caring and professional manner.

Pre-placement physicals:

  • Immunity titers
  • Immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, influenza, Tdap
  • Tuberculosis (TB) skin testing and TB IGRA testing (blood test for TB: T-Spot)
  • Medical clearance for job performance
  • Urine drug testing
  • Respirator fit medical clearances
  • Respirator fit testing

Annual Testing

  • Tuberculosis infection surveillance, including skin test or symptom questionnaire (if appropriate)
  • Influenza vaccination
  • Job-specific evaluations

Post-exposure evaluations

  • TB, pertussis, meningitis, significant body fluid exposures, other infectious/chemical exposures

Injury Management

  • Initial and follow-up evaluations
  • Referral for diagnostics, specialty visits and physical therapy
  • Coordination of care
  • Workers compensation case/claims management


  • Fitness for duty evaluations
  • Worksite ergonomic evaluations
