Life Insurance

Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment, are important benefits, especially if others depend on you for support. Einstein provides you with basic life insurance on your life, at no cost to you.  You can designate or change your beneficiaries at anytime in PRISM.

Einstein also offers you the option of purchasing additional life insurance for you and your family.  Keep in mind that insurance needs may increase as your life changes, because you have more protect - for example, getting married, starting a family or purchasing a home.

Disability Insurance

Long-term disability coverage provides ongoing income if you are unable to work because of a disabling illness or injury.

Short-term disability could help you get financial assistance as soon as your disability starts. This benefit is particularly helpful to those who have to wait for their long term disability to begin.

As an employee of Einstein, the College Tuition Benefit provides you with college scholarship for your child, grandchild, niece or nephew, as long as you register him/her before the completion of 10th grade. Travelers Insurance and Liberty Mutual Insurance offer home and auto insurance (as well as motorcycle, boat, RV, etc.) at a discounted rate to Einstein employees.  These vendors should be contacted directly and you do not have to wait until annual enrollment to take advantage of these offers.

AXA Loan Forgiveness
44 million Americans have student loan debt.  But, if you work for a non-profit hospital, like Einstein, you may be eligible for one or morel oan forgiveness programs that can help you lower your monthly payment and pay off student loans more quickly.  Let AXA help you!  AXA understands the need to help eliminate student debt and now offers tools and resources that can help you take advantage of the federal student loan forgiveness program.  You must apply and re-certify every year of qualified employment to get Public Service Loan Forgiveness.  You must also work full-time for a qualifying employer, be on an income-driven repayment plan, make 120 qualifying payments, and your loans must be direct loans (not private loans).
