Einstein Healthcare Network has partnered with Teledoc, a national telehealth services provider, to offer telehealth phone and video consult services to Einstein employees and your dependents covered by the Einstein Health Plan.
EinsteinDirect is a telehealth platform providing employees with access to quality medical care professionals through phone and video consults 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Setting Up an EinsteinDirect Account
Setting up your account is a quick and easy process online. Beginning July 1st, 2017, you can visit the EinsteinDirect website and click "Set Up Account." Follow the online instructions. Einstein employees need to set up the primary account, and can then add dependents to the account.
Requesting a Consult
To request a consult, visit the EinsteinDirect website, or download and open the mobile app, named Einstein Direct. Once you login to your account, click "Request a Consult." Once a consult is requested, the doctor can call you at the phone number you provide, if you prefer that option. EinsteinDirect physicians will call you back promptly. The median call back time is just 10 minutes.
EinsteinDirect is the first phase of Einstein's telehealth initiative that was funded through proceeds from Einstein's Harvest Ball. As a first phase in our telehealth services, we wanted to provide telehealth options to our employees. Our goal is to support your healthcare and wellness needs through this convenient and inexpensive service.
