Thanks to Einstein's Center for Clinical Competency, employees can sign up anytime for free Heartsaver CPR and AED classes at the Philadelphia and Elkins Park locations. If you are a non-clinical employee who hasn't taken a class yet, the American Heart Association reccomends you follow these 2 steps to save a life if you see a teen or adult collapse outside the hospital. These 2 steps could double or triple a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival:

For Philadelphia and Elkins Park employees, click here to sign up for a class. After you select the class you want to enroll in, on the payment page, choose "Einstein Employee" in the drop down menu to get the class for free. You do not need a discount code.
For Montgomery employees, Heartsaver CPR/AED classes are held on the first Saturday of each month at noon. The class is 3 hours long and is offered all year at EMCM. This is free to all non-clinical employees. Students can register by calling 484-622-7036 or by clicking here for online registration.
